Robert W. Dunavant, MD

Dr. Robert Dunavant has been in practice for over 40 years. He attended the University of Tennessee – Martin for his undergraduate studies and earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee – Memphis. He completed his Family Practice internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Memphis.

Dr. Dunavant is Board Certified in Family Practice. Away from the office, he enjoys flying, skiing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Angela B. Cursey, FNP
(Weakley County location)
Angela has extensive experience as a Registered Nurse and a Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Union University and her Master’s degree in Nursing from Murray State University.

Angela is married with two girls. She is an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Martin. She helps with events for a child abuse center as well as helps maintain an “Adopt a Site” location for Martin Beautiful. She is also a part of multiple other volunteer opportunities in the community.

James W. Delaney, FNP

James has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2004. He earned his RN diploma from Baptist School of Nursing and his Bachelor’s degree in nursing from Union University. He went on to earn a Master’s in Nursing from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Nurses Association, Tennessee Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau.

James and his wife, Christie, are active in their church. He enjoys spending time with his family and hunting.

Amanda L. Hearn, FNP
(Henderson location)
Amanda earned her Master’s in Nursing from Union University. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and has been in practice for 5 years. She is a member of the American Nurses Association and the Tennessee Nurses Association.

In giving back to the community, Amanda volunteers with Maggie & Friends Therapy Dogs, Order of Eastern Star and the UT Extension Family & Community Science Committee. She is married with one son and lives on a farm. She has a mini Australian Sheppard that is a certified therapy dog through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Amanda enjoys crafting and crocheting.

Tammy Milholen, FNP

Tammy has been in practice for 6 years. She completed her education at Jackson State Community College, the University of Tennessee at Martin, union University and the University of Memphis. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Tammy and her husband, Terry, have two teenage children. In her spare time, she enjoys history, flowers, reading and traveling.

Daniel Salmon, PA-C

Daniel has been in practice since 2010. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Freed Hardeman University and his Master of Science in Medicine degree from Trevecca Nazarene University. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants and the Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology.

Daniel has been on medical mission trips to Tanzania and Peru. He enjoys hiking in his leisure time.

Natalie Sturgeon, PA-C

Natalie has been in practice since 2008. She received her Bachelors of Science degree from Murray State University and her Masters of Science Physician Assistant Studies degree at Bethel University. She went on to earn a Doctorate of Health Sciences from Nova Southeastern University. She is certified by the national Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Tennessee Association Academy of Physician Assistants.

She gives back to the community by serving as Director of Higher Ground Summer Camp and participating in the Midnight Madness Run which raises money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research.

Erin Williams, FNP

Erin attended the University of Tennessee at Martin for her nursing degree and earned her family nurse practitioner degree from Austin Peay State University. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the West Tennessee Nurse Practitioners, Tennessee Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau. Erin volunteers with the Junior Auxillary of Milan, TN.

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with friends, family and her yellow lab, Lexie.

Sherry Whitby, FNP

Sherry has been a licensed Registered Nurse for 33 years and has practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner for 23 of those years. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Union University and a Master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Tennessee Memphis. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a member of the American Nurses Association. She serves as a Clinical Preceptor for the University of Memphis and Union University nursing students.

Sherry has been married for 33 years and has two sons. She enjoys photography, music and gardening.

Sara has been in practice since 1999. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Union University and her Master’s degree in nursing from the University of Tennessee – Memphis. In her spare time, she likes to run and vacation in Costa Rica.
