General History

Christian Family Medicine opened in Ripley in May of 2004. Since that time the practice has grown to include over 12,000 individual patients. We were able to see over 18,500 patients in 2006.

Christian Family Medicine is located on the major thoroughfare through Ripley, TN, Highway 51. Our current clinic facility is approximately 5,700 square feet and houses nine patient rooms amd a full service retail pharmacy.

Staff

We employ two full-time and two part-time advanced nurse practitioners and a full-time pharmacist on staff. We have a dynamic support staff that supports every aspect of our day-to-day business and clinical dealings. We currently employ eighteen people at this location.

About Ripley, TN

Ripley, Tennessee is located 50 miles north of Memphis in Lauderdale County. According to the 2003 census, Ripley has a population of 7,745, while Lauderdale County has 28,077 residents. Best known for its famous, homegrown tomatoes, Ripley hosts a three day celebration in July called the Lauderdale County Tomato Festival saluting the counties 50 tomato growers. Ripley tomatoes are a much sought after favorite throughout the Eastern United States.

Ripley offers a quality educational environment for children and teenagers with two primary schools, a middle school, and a high school. Both academics and athletics play an important role in the educational community here. There is a community college located in nearby Dyersburg, as well as 18 other colleges and universities within a sixty mile radius.

Ripley is the home of three parks, a golf course and two public swimming pools. There is also a hospital and six medical clinics in this town. The major thoroughfare through Ripley is Interstate Highway 51. The city is also accessible via air at the Dyersburg Municipal Airport located 25 miles north. The closest commercial airport is Memphis International Airport which has 305 daily flights.
